The company was founded following the huge success of the 2022 ScotWind offshore wind leasing round, which approved approximately 28GW of offshore wind development off Scotland’s North Sea coasts. The ScotWind and INTOG programmes will deploy around 35GW of offshore generation capacity in the next decade, moving Britain decisively towards net zero. The deployment creates an urgent need for major energy infrastructure in Scotland and the UK.
The first Haventus energy transition facility is currently under development at Ardersier Energy Transition Facility. When completed, it will transform Scotland’s largest brownfield port into a world-class facility for the deployment and servicing of offshore wind installations. Learn more about the facility here.
Ardersier Energy Transition Facility boasts a prime location on the Moray Firth. It represents an operational model that Haventus will seek to replicate across the world, to help enable a greener, net zero future globally.
