Community Impact
Overview
Wherever we operate, we seek to ensure that we bring mutual benefit. That means we aim to recruit new colleagues from the local area, and use local businesses to support relevant activities at our sites.
Through Ardersier Energy Transition Facility, Haventus will contribute to the regeneration of the local area as well as the development of the UK’s supply chain and skills base for offshore wind manufacturing and deployment.
We seek to support the causes and projects that matter to our local community. We have established a Community Benefit Fund to support the communities around our Ardersier Energy Transition Facility.
This provides long-term funding for initiatives chosen by the local communities themselves, ensuring money is directed to the projects and causes that matter most.
Ardersier ETF Community Benefit Fund
Empowering local communities
In 2024, following dialogue with representatives of the local community around our Ardersier Energy Transition Facility, Haventus established a Community Benefit Fund. The Fund, which will provide more than £1million over a ten-year period, will provide resources to support the initiatives and needs determined and decided by the local community, ensuring that funds are directed effectively.
Haventus has partnered with Foundation Scotland, an experienced administrator of Community Benefit Funds, to operate the Fund.
